Process
Exploria's animation process is a complete and comprehensive process, which includes client input and approvals in a variety of stages to assure that the final animation is accurate and on deadline.
-
Research - From a variety of sources including brochures, websites, journal articles, an in house library of the latest research in a variety of therapeutic areas, and client consultation, Exploria develops a comprehensive understanding of the client's product, including its molecular structure, its native environment, its mechanism of action, and the organ systems involved. The client's visual message is outlined and understood in depth.
-
Script Development - Working closely with the client and its legal department, Exploria's medical and scientific experts and medical writers develop the narrated script for the animated program. This first step is not only critical for determining the timing of the animation, but is also critical in communicating a clear, accurate and understandable message.
-
Story Board - With the final script approval, Exploria develops an electronic still storyboard and temporary narration. This illustration shows in rough form what the individual scenes of the animation will convey. In this way the director, the animators, Exploria's scientific staff and the client discuss and develop the visual story.
-
Wire Frame Testing - Working from the storyboard a low resolution of the animation is created. A second rough version of the audio script is recorded. The wire frame acts as an animated storyboard. In this step we test the timing of the audio against the framing of the video.
-
Animation Production - With the timing and framing tests complete, animation begins. Here we build the 3D objects and characters. All scenery, including foreground, background and middle areas are fully constructed and refined. When production is complete, client approval is critical prior to final editing.
-
Soundtrack Development - When animation production is complete and the client has approved the visuals, final narration and musical soundtrack are recorded. Professional narration and original musical score production maximizes the impact of the visuals.
-
Final Editing - Once all the components are created, the final cut is made. In this step everything comes together and the director makes sure that the client's message is clear and concise.
-
Movie Export - The final approved animation can be exported in a variety of formats with the highest quality being DVD to all other media formats including .avi (Windows Media Player), .mov (Quicktime), and for all uses such as television, meeting presentations, satellite uplinks and interactive CDROM.
